Ancient building comprising 4 apartments (one is occupied by the property owners) situated in the historical centre of the medieval town of Certaldo Alto. All of the 3 units have been recently restored and offer nicely furnished and cozy interiors. At their arrival, guests staying at Certaldo will be given a permission allowing them to drive to their apartment and make use of a parking situated in an internal courtyard near the apartments. During the month of July (approx. 10 days) there is a very nice “festival” (“named Mercantia”) taking place in the historical centre of Certaldo Alto (the oldest part of the town), where local artists and artisans show their works until late at the night. During this period of the year the access to the internal courtyard for parking is not possible.
Distances: the centre of Certaldo Basso with all kind of shops and train station (with trains to Florence and Siena) 500 m away (the town is also accessible by a funicular leaving every 15 minutes - duration of the trip 1 minute), Florence 40 km away, Siena 35 km, the renowned town of San Gimignano 9 km away, Volterra 50 km, Pisa 55 km.

Alla Piazzetta Proprietà is a lovely stone building (140 sq m) with internet, private pool and air conditioning. The property can sleep up to 11 guests comfortably in five bedrooms with two bathrooms. Conveniently located in Palmata, Italy in the tourist area "Lucca And Surroundings" and only 14 km (8 mi) from Lucca.
The property is composed of 3 apartments (NOT communicating internally), each with its own independent entrance and one of them is uninhabited.
The Experience
When you arrive you will be welcomed by the owner or manager where you’ll find a beautiful clean well-maintained property with views of the hills ideal for a splendid holiday in Tuscany. After a hectic day of visiting museums, spend some time with friends and family poolside enjoying a glass of wine - a perfect way to unwind at the end the day. For your pleasure, on the grounds there is a barbecue grill and playground. There is a kitchen including coffee machine, microwave, toaster, stove and refrigerator, as well as, plenty of tableware and cutlery for up to 11 people. If you prefer to dine 'al fresco', there is a fully furnished terrace where you can enjoy the weather while dining outdoors.
