You will find the farm at the foot of the rugged hill where the ancient Etruscan town of Cortona rises majestically and will instantly win you over with its old-world atmosphere. In Cortona you can stroll around, enjoy splendid views and visit countless ancient churches, museums and works of art. Don't forget to taste the local cuisine in the typical restaurants in the centre - you won't regret it!
A skilful and careful renovation, carried out with painstaking patience directly by the owner, and a decor in authentic period furniture give the houses a very special charm. You will feel welcomed in a very homely atmosphere that will make you feel at home from the very first moment.
Apartments Sofya and Selene are located in the same building and can be especially recommended for 2 families travelling together. La Gabola, La Gabolina and La Turata, on the other hand, are individual and independent houses, perfect for those who like a little extra privacy.
All around the farm a large green space where each house has its own private corner with a gazebo equipped with table and chairs. The farmhouse has a beautiful interior court yard, and about 50 m away is a completely renovated barn. Located south of Siena on the edge of the Crete Senesi, the property enjoys a tranquil, panoramic position inside a large farm (400 hectares) that produces wine and olive oil. Magnificent view of the countryside, characterized by the rolling hills of the Val D’Orcia and the city of Siena on the horizon. The apartments are furnished in a comfortable, rustic style. Outside, guests may use a charming, partially covered terrace (110m2) with a beautiful view.
The property can also be rented in its entirety for small groups, in which case guests may use a large, shared common room with kitchen.
Access to the property is via a 3 km unpaved but well-maintained road.
