Today it is the guesthouse of a 16th century villa, where the property owners reside. The property is in a tranquil location at the center of a 12 hectare farm that produces wine and olive oil. At the same time it is just 350 m from the center of a small, charactaristic village where a bus can take you to Florence in just 20 minutes. Beautiful view of the countryside. Each apartment has its own large, private outdoor space, and the beautiful, enclosed, shared pool sits among olive trees, overlooking the country landscape (85 m from the house). Upon request, it is possible to visit the garden of the main villa, with its ancient interconnecting pools fed by a natural spring and age-old lemon trees. The La Valle complex is comprised of seven comfortable apartments situated just a kilometre from the town of Montaione and roughly 45 kilometres from Florence. Each apartment has its own private and furnished outdoor area, perfect for dining alfresco. The complex has a large outdoor space with a swimming pool and tennis court for shared use by the apartments.
The location of this rental allows for easy visiting of Tuscany’s many attractions such as San Gimignano, Volterra, Florence, Siena, the Chianti winemaking area and the beautiful Tuscan coast.
Distances: Montaione offers a variety of shops just 1 km away, while guests can find Gambassi at a distance of 10 km, San Gimignano 22 km, Volterra 30 km, Florence 45 km, Siena 60 km and Cecina mare on the Tuscan coast at a distance of roughly 70 km.
