A smoke sauna is available for rent for those seeking a more traditional Finnish sauna experience, and the owner also offers a hot tub for rent, adding an extra layer of relaxation to your stay.
Outdoors
The outdoor setting of Kärkimökki is defined by its direct relationship with the natural landscape surrounding lake Iso-Roine, a lake stretching 8 km in length and 2 km in width, with the shoreline just 15 m from the cabin. A natural trail leads guests along the cape to a pier, from which you can enjoy swimming via a convenient swimming ladder. While the rocky beach is not suitable for small children due to its challenging bottom, a shallow, child-friendly sand beach shared with other cabins in the area is located just 200 m away, offering a safe and pleasant alternative for younger guests. Approximately 100 m away, the marina houses your own private rowing boat, stored there to accommodate the rocky nature of the immediate shoreline. The covered porch and balcony provide inviting spaces to relax outdoors, taking in the serene views of the surrounding Finnish nature.
Other Information
Check-in at Kärkimökki begins at 16:00 and check-out is set at 12:00, applicable to all reservations including those made over the weekend. Pets are welcome at this destination, though an additional fee applies per pet.
