7. The Pakleni Islands
If you have found a vacation rental in Hvar, then you simply have to visit the Pakleni Islands.
A series of impossibly beautiful islets that stretch out in front of Hvar town, they boast small, secluded beaches, deserted coves and memories that will last a lifetime. Each of the islands have their own quirks and unique traits. Some are party-orientated and others utterly untouched and undisturbed by man, except for fleeting visits. While this is not a single beach, as the rest of the list is, this is the opportunity to find a beach that perfectly suits your tastes.
8. Spiaza Beach
If you are looking to well and truly get away from it all, this is the beach for you. Located on the lovely Susak Island, one of the sandiest and best preserved islands in the entire country, Spiaza Beach is its crowning glory. Found at the edge of the village of Susak village, it is a shallow, child-friendly beach that guarantees tranquillity as Susak has no roads, cars, or nightclubs. To get there, find a vacation rental in Primorje-Gorski Kotar and then take one of the daily ferries from Lošinj or a catamaran from Rijeka to visit this beautiful island and this perfect beach.
Of course, there are many more excellent beaches so be sure to read on to the last and previous posts in this series.
