If you are trying to find a vacation rental in Greece and are planning your ideal trip, you likely have certain things in mind. You have probably been daydreaming for a while now and those daydreams have probably included being close to the impossibly blue seas and perfect beaches that make it on to all of those postcards and holiday photos that we have seen all of our lives. While there are plenty of great cities to visit across the country, in order to help make those long-held dreams come true, we have chosen just some of our best villas by the sea in Greece.
1. Poulithra
This beautiful house has 2 bedrooms and 2 annexes, four bedrooms in total, and sleeps up to eight people. It has windows and a veranda that open out and look right over the sea, making it the perfect place to wake up to a whole new world, to wander down and spend lazy days on the beach and to dine while taking in the incredible view before you.

The mountains that can be seen framing and hugging the bay onto which the property looks are filled with hiking paths just waiting to be explored and there are several beaches nearby. This property is also perfectly located for renting a car and exploring the wider area of the region of Peloponnese. Available from €104 per night, it is a steal!
2. Paralio Astros
Another Peloponnese villa, this small and cosy property is incredibly cute and picture-perfect, exactly what you will have imagined, with whitewashed exterior walls, stone property walls, pastel blue shuttered windows and trims, a red slate roof, lemon trees and tasteful interiors. Built across two floors, there is a kitchen on the ground floor (and a sleeping area for up to two people) and a bedroom/living room on the second floor with a double bed and pull-out sofa, sleeping up to five people in total for (prices starting at) €111 per night.

The views here are also breathtaking, with a large outdoor terrace with a pool, a big bbq area and dining area on a balcony, all of which look out over the sea and pretty town of Paralio Astros. With kilometres of blue flag awarded sandy beaches, traditional tavernas by the sea, beach bars, windsurfing and surfing opportunities and hiking trails nearby, there is lots to see and do. Of course, it is also the perfect place to do nothing at all.
