Beloved of British, Irish, and German tourists, the Canary Islands are a Spanish territory but are located off the coast of northern Africa and, therefore, boast much warmer autumn months than much of the rest of Europe. But what kind of temperatures can you expect in the Canary Islands in fall?
Well, in September, you’ll still get hot days with balmy evenings and average high temperatures of 27 C each day and average daily lows of 22 C. There is only an average rainfall of 1mm for the month and the water temperature remains at 24 C. All of which makes September an ideal time for a beach holiday in the Canary Islands.
Come October, the weather remains similarly warm with the same average high temperatures each day and a slight decrease of the average low temperature by just 1 degree to 21 C. Water temperatures also remain the same but the chance of rain is higher, rising from a 25% chance of rain throughout the day to a 42% chance.
Then, in November, the chance of rain decreases again but temperatures begin to lower further with an average daily maximum of 24 C and an average daily minimum of 19 C. Water temperatures, however, remain at 22 C, making it still an excellent time to go to the beach!
