In order to get ready ahead of the holiday season (it's November so we're excited for festivities already!), we've been talking about one of our favourite topics all this week: cocktails. And where better to enjoy an incredible cocktail? Paris, of course!

A vacation rental in Paris around Christmas is sure to make for a good time as it is but an amazing cocktail will elevate the whole thing and Paris has birthed some of the most iconic beverages in the world. Here are the ones that you need to try while you're over there or, if you can't wait, to make at home as you plan a festive getaway in France.

This cocktail is an adaptation of the famous Italian Negroni that was first concocted in 1927 by Harry MacElhone at Harry’s New York Bar when he swapped the gin for whiskey and is named for a regular named Erskine Gwynne, who owned a publication called Boulevardier.
