Villa Les Poulivets, garden

Oppède is a stunning town that is made up of an old town – a well-preserved medieval core that is beyond picturesque – and a new town in the region of Provence-alpes-côte D'azur. It is a place of winding streets, beautiful historic buildings, houses swathed in bright flowers climbing up the walls, and pretty little eateries with bistro tables set up outside for people-watching as you dine. But that’s not where the charms of this part of the world end. All around the town, you can find lush countryside that is full of wonderful hiking and biking trails, lavender fields, castles dotted here and there, and vineyards. It truly is a magical place that seems almost conjured from fantasies about what life in the south of France is like. Not far from this charming town, in that lovely landscape, you can find Villa Les Poulivets, one of our favourite villas in Provence.

However, there is something truly magical about Provence. Boasting an exceptionally varied, picturesque, sprawling, and wild landscape, Provence transforms endlessly as one roams and explores the region from its picture-perfect beaches and seaside resorts, to the towering and snow-capped peaks of the Alps, to the endless rolling fields of fragrant lavender, to the wild and majestic craggy valleys and gorges that cut through sections of the landscape, to the utterly idyllic and sleepy little villages sprinkled about the place. Often so lovely or wildly beautiful or both that it takes the breath away, this is a place to come for sun, fun, relaxation, great food and wine, adventure, and always, always, incredible surroundings. But the region’s charms themselves are not the only things that make Provence such an appealing holiday destination. If you have been considering a vacation in France and have been looking at this part of the world, then another major selling point are our villas in Provence. Aside from being a base from which to explore all that the region has to offer (which is considerable, unforgettable, and magical), there are some specific factors that make our vacation rentals in Provence truly the perfect place for your next getaway.
