Your Experience
Teto belongs to the Fattoria di Fubbiano, an estate producing one of the most renowned wines of the Lucca area. We also offer for rent here, since many years, two of the ancient properties belonging to the characteristic 'borgo': Fubbiano, the main villa, and Magrini, a restored farmhouse.
The property is divided in main house and small dependance.
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by the owner or manager where you’ll find a lovely clean well-maintained property with views of the hills ideal for a splendid vacation in Tuscany. After a hectic day of sightseeing, spend some time with friends and family poolside enjoying a glass of wine - a perfect way to relax at the end the day. Also available outside are a patio and barbecue grill. Dining with friends and family is a big part of the Tuscan culture. Take advantage of the kitchen to prepare meals using local produce while on your vacation. The kitchen includes coffee machine, stove and refrigerator, as well as, plenty of tableware and cutlery for up to 11 people. Dine 'al fresco' like a real Tuscan, the fully furnished veranda is the perfect setting to enjoy food, family and the nice Tuscan weather.

Description
Fubbiano is a beautiful holiday rental (420 sq m) with private pool and WiFi internet. The property can sleep up to 12 guests comfortably in six bedrooms with five bathrooms. Conveniently located 5 km (3 mi) from San Gennaro, Italy and only 18 km (11 mi) from Lucca. There is a golf course nearby if you'd like to get in a round or two while on vacation.
What to Expect
In a sunny position on the slopes of the Luccan hills is an ancient “borgo” (a very small village), Fubbiano, with old country houses, wine cellars (D.O.C. wine is for sale, among the best in the Lucca area) and an olive oil mill. The “borgo” is overlooked by the main villa, a typical Tuscan building dating back to the 18th century. In the grounds there is a private swimming pool in a panoramic position overlooking the plain of Lucca. Beyond the formal garden and terraces there is a small oak wood with a shady path leading to an ancient fountain. Nearby, are the “Grotte Giusti Terme”, a health spa and beauty centre, where guests staying at Fubbiano will have special terms. The Englishspeaking management is available for assistance and can arrange guided tours in the area.
When you arrive at Fubbiano you’ll find a lovely clean well-maintained property with views of the hills ideal for a peaceful vacation in Tuscany. For your enjoyment you will find a private pool where you can unwind while enjoying a nice cold beverage after a busy day of visiting museums. Also available outdoors are a barbecue grill and patio. If you enjoy cooking for family and friends there is a well-equipped kitchen including coffee machine, microwave, toaster, stove and refrigerator, as well as, plenty of tableware and cutlery for up to 12 people. Important: this ticket is not a private parking. It allows free parking in the blue parking lots of the town, with the exception of the parking lot above the beach, where it is not completely free but there is a reduced hourly rate.

Having a car is absolutely recommended.
We do not recommend this house for those arriving by train, and therefore on foot during their stay.
Keep in mind that on foot, you will have to walk 800 meters uphill to get to the apartment (15-minute uphill walk); the center of Levanto is 1.5 km from the house, the train station 2 km from the house (30 minutes on foot).
Please take this into consideration to avoid misunderstandings or complaints when you get here.
We are not able to provide taxi transfers; at night there are no taxis available in town.
Walking is not recommended if you are not used to! In summer during the day it could be too hot; at night the last part of the road is not lighted enough.
