The house, which was built in 2006, is located 77 km north of Joensuu. The house is 80 m from the shore of Lake Pielinen (871.2 km²) and has its own gently sloping beach with small stones. A rowing boat is provided. A staircase leads from the house to the shore.
There is ample parking space for 3-4 vehicles. In the forest areas belonging to the property around the house, you can pick blueberries for your breakfast in the appropriate seasons. There are terraces on several sides of the house. On the lake side, there is a gas grill and a small charcoal grill on the terrace.
The well-equipped kitchen has 2 induction hobs, 2 gas burners, and an electric oven. For enthusiastic cooks, there is also a wood-fired baking owen by the fireplace, which you can use also as a pizza owen. The living/dining area has a smart TV, which can be used to receive Finnish TV channels as well as various streaming services and media libraries. The bedroom on the ground floor has 2 single beds and the three bedrooms on the upper floor each have 2 beds. The beds on the upper floor are set up as double beds but can also be separated and used as single beds. All bedrooms are equipped with a wardrobe. Upstairs there is also a lounge and a roof balcony with breathtaking views over the Pielinen. The TV upstairs is not connected to the terrestrial antenna, but has HDMI connections so you can connect the vacation home's Blu-ray player or your own device (e.g., laptop, game console). 4G Wi-Fi is available in the house. The sauna is electrically heated and has windows with beautiful views of the forest and the Pielinen.
