Villa Cerretalta is in a wonderful position on a small hill surrounded by Brunello vineyards, within the national park of Val D'Orcia. The 7 bedroom, 6 bath property is set between the cities of Montalcino and San Quirico D'Orcia (both are about 10 km away), yet in few minutes you can reach the little town of Torrenieri (5 km) where you can find the nearest shops, supermarket and restaurants.
The owner occasionally uses the independent building nearby and whilst respecting your privacy will be at your disposal if you should need any help.
Cerretalta is completely surrounded by hedges and fences to guarantee total privacy. Nonetheless, you have a wonderful sight over the countryside.
Once you enter the gateway, there is a large courtyard plenty of tables and chairs at guests’ disposal as well as the brick barbeque. Across the court there is a lovely area with a big round stone table and matching benches sheltered from the sun by a pergola. Here there is also a second way out from the property, down a stone staircase and through a small iron gate.
There are two garden areas.
The first one is bordered by mature trees, should the guests enjoy a peaceful shady lawn, and it is situated next to a white travertine floored space with tables, chairs and parasol. This is the perfect location where you can have your meals, while taking in the beautiful view over the surrounding farmland.
From here, few stone steps lead to the second garden that is located near the poolside. A small gate possibly delimits the way so as to prevent little children from reaching the swimming-pool area without permission. Some fruit trees, flowers and shrubs brighten the place and there is also a gazebo with table and chairs. An extensive hedge marks the limits of the patch.

A gravel track leads from the entrance gate around the property and into a splendid park of approximately 2,000 square metres, where tall shady trees including cypresses, olives and oaks frame the house and its surroundings in natural elegance. The manicured lawn provides a serene setting for relaxation, while the covered outdoor dining area, located just a few steps from the main building, is equipped with stone tables, benches and a barbecue, offering the perfect environment for long, leisurely meals and convivial evenings under the Tuscan sky. The rectangular swimming pool, which is non-heated, is positioned to the right of the entrance gate, approximately 10 metres from the house. It measures 12 by 6 metres, with a depth ranging from 0.90 to 2.06 metres, and features internal lighting as well as illumination from 2 lampposts surrounding the pool area. A dedicated sunbathing area is furnished with sunbeds and umbrellas, and a gazebo and a cold-water shower are also available for your comfort. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday in October. Please be aware that photographs of the property were taken in spring, and therefore the blossoming of flowers and the colour of the garden grass may differ from what you observe upon arrival.

Podere Calcheto is a single building thoughtfully divided into 2 separate units, each with its own independent external access, offering the ideal balance between shared holiday living and personal privacy. Together, the 2 units accommodate up to 14 guests across 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Each unit spans 2 floors connected by both internal and external staircases. Unit 1 occupies the left wing of the building. On the ground floor, you will find a dining room, a kitchenette and a pantry. The non-heated swimming pool occupies a panoramic position between the villa and the wellness annex, overlooking the surrounding rolling hills and vineyards. Rectangular in shape, it measures 12 x 6 metres with a depth ranging from 1.20 to 1.80 metres, lined in PVC and equipped with chlorine purification. Access is via Roman steps, and the pool features internal and external lighting, a semicircular shallow ledge, and built-in seating along one side. The paved pool terrace is furnished with sunbeds, umbrellas, and a solar shower, creating an ideal sunbathing and leisure area. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. Please note that photographs of the property were taken in spring, so the appearance of flowering plants and the colour of the garden grass may differ at the time of your arrival.

Parking is available just outside the fenced perimeter, reachable via two steps or a level path. Pets are welcome at the property; an additional cleaning fee applies per animal per week. The rental rate includes utilities covering electricity, water, gas for cooking purposes, and heating, as well as weekly linen service and both initial and final cleaning. The rate also includes the ZeroDep Guarantee, which means guests are not required to pay a security deposit either on balance or upon arrival, and benefit from EuropAssistance coverage in the event of accidental damage to the property during their stay, up to a maximum of 1,500 euros and subject to the limitations provided.
