Córdoba
Andalusia is one of Spain's most popular tourist areas, which is understandable given its incredible beauty and endless attractions. Seen as the, “mother,” of Spanish traditions, it is where towns like Granada positively burst with the elements like Flamenco and bullfighting that have become so synonymous with the country's cultural heritage. Andalusia also boasts a varied and gorgeous landscape and scenery, incredible golden beaches, excellent weather throughout the year, great ski resorts, perfect spots for surfing, wonderful hiking routes, and more. While the cities of Seville and Granada are most famous, however, if you have found a villa in Andalusia and are looking to plan some day trips and outings, we would urge you not to miss out on the charming town of Córdoba, particularly if you are visiting during the spring. One of the oldest towns in Europe, it has an exceptionally pretty Old Town and is a picturesque gem bursting with culture and character and with the scent of flowers.     Read More

Mount Teide
Tenerife is not just an excellent holiday destination for those looking for winter sun, good value for money, and sizzling hot summers. It is more than just a wonderful sun holiday location that attracts flocks of tourist crowds to its well-established resorts each year for good reason, though it certainly is that. In addition to all of this, Tenerife is also an incredible volcanic island with a unique and strikingly beautiful landscape. If you're interested in the great outdoors, exploring, and stunning views, then a villa in Tenerife is a brilliant idea as it boasts lots of places and attractions where adventure and thrills are the order of the day.

Made up of dramatic desert plains punctuated by colourful reptiles and and tough bright blooms that fight to appear between craggy rocks, the scenery of much of the island of Tenerife is undoubtedly unforgettable, stark, and lovely. This amazing landscape is best showcased and most apparent in the Teide National Park, which is also home to Mount Teide, the highest point in Spain and one of the highest volcanoes in the world. Still active (it has not erupted since 1909, though it has a history of destructive eruptions), Mount Teide is a UNESCO awarded World Heritage Site and the most visited natural wonder of Spain. Located in the most visited national park in Spain and Europe and the eighth most visited in the world, it attracts some 3 million visitors yearly. In fact, the number of visitors only increases year by year. If you have found a vacation rental in Tenerife, you should make sure to set aside some time to visit it yourself!     Read More

Cave systems around the world are always fascinating, otherworldly attractions that are always worth seeing but some are more impressive or evocative than others. One of the most magical cave systems that you could ever hope to visit, one that really does seem as if you have been transported to some underworld from myth and legend, is the Cuevas del Drach, or Drach Caves, in Mallorca. The Cuevas del Drach comprise four different caves that are called the Black Cave, White Cave, Cave of Luis Salvador, and Cave of the French and are located in the municipality of Manacor, near the locality of Porto Cristo. Formed by water being forced through the entrance from the Mediterranean Sea, the caves are thought to date back to the Miocene Epoch, some 5 to 23 million years ago. They are, without a doubt, one of the island’s main tourist attractions and are truly staggering in scale, with a horizontal extension of about 1,200m and a maximum depth of 25m below ground level, and they also contain a large underground lake, Lake Martel (115m in length by 30m in width), that is considered one of the largest underground lakes in the entire world.     Read More

The Basque Country of Spain is located to the north and centre of the country and is famous for being one of the best foodie destinations in the world, for its incredible art, architecture, and culture (boasting international film festivals, world-leading art institutions like that at Bilbao, UNESCO World Heritage sites aplenty), and for its truly beautiful beaches and stunning scenery.
