Deauville is distinguished by its title as the closest seaside resort to Paris. An upscale resort town made famous as a tourist destination in the 19th century and composed of pretty buildings typical of the region, it is located in Normandy on the so-called Côte Fleurie (Flowery Coast). Cabourg is one of Normandy’s most picturesque seaside resorts.
