Cabourg is one of Normandy’s most picturesque seaside resorts. A simple fishing and farming village until the middle of the 19th century, it was transformed by Parisian businessman Henri Durand-Morimbau, who had a vision of what it could be once railway lines made the town easily accessible to Parisians looking to escape the city.
