5. Utah Beach, Normandy
It would, of course, be remiss of us not to mention any of the beaches in Normandy that were part of the events of D-Day. This beach is the westernmost of the Invasion Beaches. Steeped in history, it is one of the locations where, on D-Day, 23,000 men and 1700 vehicles landed.
