Here guests are welcomed into six charming units that reflect a rare and authentic form of hospitality: the Albergo diffuso—literally, a ‘scattered hotel’. Developed in Italy, this model revitalizes once-abandoned villages by blending comfort with local tradition in a truly immersive experience- in fact the "borgo" is a shared community between locals that live here permanently, and travelers that was born in the late 1980's.
Our collaboration with this placa was born to promote a network of local chefs, farmers, winemakers, guides, and hospitality professionals — all working together to create meaningful moments that we hope will make your stay one to remember.
My team (I am Tuscany) and I will take care of the accommodation side of your experience — from the moment you book to the day you arrive. Reliable Wi-Fi connectivity ensures you remain connected throughout your stay, while a dedicated parking area featuring 2 covered spaces and 2 uncovered spaces provides convenient and secure vehicle accommodation. The property is accessed through an automatic iron gate, adding an additional layer of privacy and security to this exceptional countryside escape.

The estate in which Casal Parro is situated extends across a total area of 6 hectares, while the fenced grounds immediately surrounding the house cover approximately 1.5 hectares, encompassing olive groves, walnut, fig, and cherry trees, a well-tended lawn, and an abundance of colourful roses that lend the property its signature charm. The westward-facing aspect of the estate rewards guests with a breathtaking panoramic view over the Val Tiberina. Directly accessible from the sitting room through elegant French windows, a wisteria-covered portico provides a fully equipped outdoor dining area where meals can be enjoyed in the open air surrounded by the natural beauty of the landscape. A short distance from the pool, a wooden pergola serves as a second inviting outdoor dining and relaxation space, complete with a portable barbecue, fridge, chairs, and a table, making it ideal for leisurely al fresco evenings. The non-heated swimming pool is a true centrepiece of the outdoor experience. Rectangular in shape and measuring 12 x 6 metres, it features a depth that varies from 1.20 to 2.50 metres and is lined in PVC with internal lighting and chlorine purification. Access to the water is facilitated by 3 submerged steps, and a charming small raised pool measuring 2 x 2 metres with a depth of 40 centimetres and a waterfall flowing into the main pool offers a unique space to relax while seated in the water. The pool is located approximately 10 metres from the house and is reached either down a short flight of 8 steps or across a stretch of lawn. The surrounding 60 square metre tile-paved area is furnished with sun beds and umbrellas, and a cold-water shower is available for guests' convenience. A guest bathroom is located just a few metres away. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October. Please note that the photographs of the property were taken in spring, and therefore the blossoming of flowers and the colour of the garden grass may differ at the time of your arrival.

A minimum stay of 7 nights from Saturday to Saturday is required, except for last-minute requests, while short stays and daily rates may be available in other seasons upon request. The welcoming service is provided for key collection and villa explanation, though multiple welcoming services for the same group cannot be granted. Concierge service is available from 9am to 7pm and remains available for emergencies outside these hours. A shuttle service to and from the estate restaurant is included for up to 8 people maximum for dinner upon prior reservation, though multiple round trips per villa are not available. Access to the villa requires traveling through the Antognolla Golf Course followed by 3 kilometers of white gravel road. Please note that while the roads are maintained in good condition, they are occasionally steep with loose stones typical of country roads, making them unsuitable for low-height cars or sport cars. It is strongly recommended that you arrange your own rental vehicle to travel inside and outside the estate, and it is preferable to explore the estate on foot or by bike. Only transfers arranged through the concierge team are permitted to access the estate. All extra services and activities including catering, cooking, and transfers can only be provided by or through the estate restaurant, and these services must be booked in advance as availability cannot be guaranteed for last-minute requests. At Poggio del Fabbro you will find yourself in the midst of the peace and beauty of green woods and hills. The old farmhouse is located in a hilly and panoramic position on the border between Tuscany and Umbria, in a secluded and quiet area ideal if you want to spend a relaxing holiday, in full contact with nature and disconnect from the hectic city life. All around the house there are meadows, cultivated fields and cool wooded areas, which will be perfect for your walks during the summer heat.
And if one evening you feel like resurfacing to real life, Cortona, about 20 km away, perched on a high hill, awaits you with its glorious past and its Etruscan origins, and will make you fall in love with its narrow cobbled streets. There are also two restaurants and a small grocery shop within a 10 km distance.
If you choose Poggio del Fabbro, you will choose an old stone farmhouse of peasant origin, dating back to the 1800s, which has recently been renovated and has maintained its architectural and stylistic features intact, respecting tradition. The warmth of the interiors, furnishings and furniture will leave you with an indelible memory of a holiday in Tuscany for years to come.
The owners, a sure point of reference for any need, live in the house next door and will be more than happy to provide you with their vegetable garden with fresh seasonal vegetables.
A few metres from the house, you can bask in the warm summer sun on the solarium of the beautiful swimming pool (size 10x5 m, depth 1.20-1.50 m - open from 01st May to 30th September), completely fenced, which together with table tennis, table football and covered parking are for your exclusive use.
