This beautiful farmhouse is located in a very quiet and secluded position on the Castello di Volpaia estate, where we have successfully been renting two other properties, La Pozza and Il Casetto for many years. Guests can enjoy incredible views from the covered terrace, which is furnished for outdoor eating and is also very practical for families as it overlooks the pool, allowing parents to relax while keeping an eye on the pool area. The fortified hamlet of Volpaia offers two nice restaurants, one of which owned by the estate. The English speaking estate staff can organize cooking lessons, visits to the wine cellars and will be glad to assist guests during their stay.

The expansive park, entirely fenced for privacy and security, features a vast olive grove ideal for leisurely walks, as well as a lush garden planted with a flat lawn and bordered by bushes of red and aromatic roses. In the immediate vicinity of the two residential units and directly in front of the pool area, a paved and shaded surface provides the perfect setting for outdoor dining. The non-heated swimming pool is a true highlight of the property, framed by scenic olive trees and vines and enjoying an open view over the hilly landscape. Reached by climbing five steps and crossing the surrounding lawn, the pool has a rectangular shape measuring 4.5 x 11 m, with a depth that gradually increases from 1.20 m to 1.80 m. The tank is PVC-lined, sanitized with chlorine, and equipped with internal lights, as well as steps running along one of the two short sides. Along the stone-paved edge, a dedicated sunbathing area is furnished with sun beds and umbrellas. A basement accessible via a flight of stairs houses a bathroom with shower and a changing room for the convenience of pool users. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October. The non-heated rectangular pool, lined in PVC, measures 6 x 12 metres with a depth varying from 1.10 m to 1.50 m. It features 2 ladders for water access, 4 hydromassage vents along one side, internal lighting, and chlorine purification. Approximately one hectare of fenced parkland, enclosed by wire mesh fencing and hedges reaching 1.80 metres in height, surrounds the property and provides complete privacy. The garden is dotted with fragrant bushes of rosemary, jasmine, aloe, and roses, as well as olive trees, all distributed between the buildings and the various outdoor living areas. It is worth noting that the property photographs were taken in spring, so the flowering and the colour of the garden grass may differ at the time of your arrival.

This remarkable pool measures 12 x 6 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.40 to 2 metres, and is lined in PVC with a brick border.
