This is a picturesque little cove between the resorts of Tucepi and Makarska that is reachable only by foot and hidden among large rocks – but, rest assured, it is well-worth seeking out as it is incredibly pretty.

Zaostrog is a pretty resort town located in the valley and surrounded by Biokovo and boasts beautiful beaches, an amazing Franciscan monastery with a huge library and a gallery of paintings, an ethnographic collection, and a botanical garden.
