Head down early to the Cours Saleya Open-Air Market in the Old Town at least one of the mornings of your trip and take in the colours, sounds and endless piles of fresh produce in the prettiest of settings. Every morning you'll find fruit, vegetables, cheeses, olives, herbs, flowers and fresh bread and pastries that could make you swoon. Grab something still oven warm first thing and enjoy the tastiest bargain of your life!

Located at the top of a steep hill on the east side of the city, this park offers one of the greatest views over the French Riviera, right over Nice and the Baie des Anges. A bit of a trek, it is a nice way to stretch the legs in cool months but the free elevator that goes up from the Old Town is recommended in the summer.
