Wake Up To Sea Views On Your Next Vacation In Italy

Villa Baia Al Mare

As we enter spring, you might be looking forward to a summer vacation full of fun and sun after a long and dreary winter. We always think that a villa in Italy is the perfect option for those dreaming of a getaway that delivers incredible food, lovely surroundings, and endless things to see and do – all of the ingredients necessary for a perfect holiday. Of course, better still are our villas with pools in Italy, especially if you are going to be travelling during the hotter summer months, as you’ll always have somewhere to relax and cool down. However, if you’re looking for the most relaxing and atmospheric conditions for a vacation in Italy, then we think you should consider villas with sea views.

Villa Ribes, review

All of our vacation rentals in Italy near the sea are a perfect fit for water babies, water sports enthusiasts, and those who really need relief from sizzling summer days but those that directly overlook the sea are just that little bit more evocative and magical. Some are close enough to be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves crashing below, many allow you to breathe in the fresh salty sea air all throughout your vacation, others simply put on a spectacular show through the windows of your villa as the sun rises and sets over the sea and as the water glitters all day in the background. No matter just how close you are, these holiday rentals with sea views make everything more special – from dining al fresco, to chatting over great local wines while watching the sun set, to sipping wonderful Italian coffee outside in the morning, to swimming in the pool or lounging next to it. So, if you care about setting the mood and getting the atmosphere just right and you love to be by the sea, then check out these amazing properties in Italy...

There is a large terrace decked in wood and with sleek railings that don’t impede views even a little bit. A staircase also leads directly down from the property to the sea and the rocky coastline below, allowing private access.

Inside, the view continues to be accentuated and highlighted for those staying in the villa with large glass doors opening out onto the terrace, a massive curved window in the living room, well-placed windows in the bedrooms. Free for all but one week of August 2025, this villa on the Amalfi Coast is found in the town of Massa Lubrense, with breath-taking views over the Mediterranean and the nearby Li Galli islands. The two-storey villa is sleek and modern, with terraced gardens that descend towards the sea, a private infinity pool with hydromassage seats that directly overlooks the water, and private access to the secluded pebble beach below.

The more elevated position of this villa allows for sweeping views over the surrounding scenery from the framed little glimpses in the bathrooms that look like postcard pictures to the living room, with its large glass doors that open fully to boast a stunning view of the bobbing boats and glittering waters between billowing white curtains. Many of the bedrooms and other rooms also open directly out onto the terrace where there is a dining table and outdoor sofa and other lounging areas so that you can live out in that magical backdrop for most of your vacation.

In addition to the main terrace with the pool and dining and lounging areas, the descending terraces that bring guests down to the beach are also equipped with sun beds that allow you to enjoy lying out in a more secluded setting in front of those views. For those who want to get directly down to the beach, instead of winding down through the terraces, there is also a private cable car for exclusive use by the guests of the villa.
