Log cabin 2000, kitchen-living room: sofa bed for two, bedroom with double bed, bedroom with one bed, hall, utility room/dressing room, shower room, sauna (electric) and a covered terrace. There is also a wood-burning stove in the kitchen.
The garage and storage building in connection with the electrically heated sleeping cabin (8 m²) with a bunk bed for two as an alternative sleeping place, sleeping cabin is only for summer use.

40 km north-west of Heinola, Tainionvirta and the magnificent restored Virtaankoski rapids are 100 m away. Short water connection to Lake Päijänne. Sandy beach and swimming pier with both shallow and deep swimming areas. The bottom is sandy clay and mud, making it suitable for children. Adult life jackets (2) and a rowboat are available. The beach is shared with the owner.

Description
Villa Vehmas is a charming, cozy cabin ideal for a peaceful holiday, situated on a sunny grassy plot.
Located 70 km northwest of Heinola, Lake Päijänne 25 m, with a gently deepening sandy bottom, own pier. A canoe and rowing boat available.
The wooden villa, originally built in 1991, was renovated and expanded in 2024. The living room/kitchen includes a sofa bed for two. One bedroom has a double bed, and the other bedroom has a pull-out sofa bed for two. There is a bathroom with a shower, an electric sauna, and a separate WC. The spacious covered terrace, running the length of the house, faces the lake.
The lakeside sauna was built in 1994 and renovated in 2024. The fireplace room has a refrigerator and a sofa bed, providing two additional sleeping places during the summer. The sauna has a wood-burning stove and a water cauldron.
In winter, it’s possible to create an ice hole for swimming, with equipment available at the cabin. The owner can also prepare one for you for a fee of 30 euros, payable in cash on-site.

147 km north of Helsinki, lake Avusjärvi about 100 m away (length about 2 km, width about 1 km), shallow, first sanded beach, then muddy bottom, a pier, own boat and 4 sit-on-top kayaks.
Wooden villa built in 2014, living room-kitchen, three bedrooms, double bed in each, small toilet-washroom and utility room.
Yard sauna (90 m to the lake) beside the main building, built in 2021.
On the shore there is a separate barrel sauna with wood-heated stove and cauldron use on summer time (1.5.-30.9.). There is no running water in the sauna (water has to be carried from the lake).
Hot tub available, but not in winter time (frost). The customer fills, retrieves firewood from the barn, heats, empties and washes a hot tub, committing to strictly following the instructions given by the owner, during the frost period requires special care. Hot tub must be filled in two rounds (otherwise the well will empty too fast and there won't be enough water for the shower, dishwasher, etc).
The rental price includes the hot tub on the beach, which can be filled with lake water with the help of a pump, and firewood. The customer fills, retrieves firewood from the barn, heats, empties and washes a hot tub, committing to strictly following the instructions given by the owner, during the frost period requires special care.

Located 12 km northeast of Lahti, Lake Arkiomaanjärvi 90 m (width: 0.8 km, length: 2.2 km). The lake has a rapidly deepening, rocky bottom, with good swimming access from the pier. However, it is not suitable for small children or non-swimmers. A rowing boat is available for use.
This three-story log villa, handcrafted from logs in 2000, offers a well-designed layout. The main floor features a spacious living room, kitchen, a bedroom with a sofa bed for two, a bathroom with a WC and shower, a utility room, and a balcony.
On the upper floor, there are three bedrooms, each with two beds, with the option to arrange two of the rooms as double beds. There is also a WC, a balcony, and a lounge area with a sofa bed for two.
The ground floor includes a fireplace room, a small gym, an infrared sauna, a dressing room, a bathroom with a bathtub and two showers, an electric sauna, and a WC.
