Bookings made up to 60 days before arrival can be cancelled free of charge, although a handling fee of CHF 100.00 will be retained for any cancellation. Should a cancellation occur less than 60 days before arrival, the tenant has the right to propose a replacement tenant. The substitute tenant must be deemed reasonable and solvent by the landlord and shall enter into the contract under the existing conditions. The tenant and the substitute tenant are jointly and severally liable for the rent. The date of receipt of the cancellation notification by the landlord or the booking office is decisive for the entitlement to the cancellation fee, with Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays deferring to the next working day.
